Warwick Supports Share the Dignity Campaign
At Warwick, we’re proud to be supporting Share the Dignity for the very first time.
At Warwick, we’re proud to be supporting Share the Dignity for the very first time. This incredible national charity helps women and children experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, and hardship by providing them with everyday essentials many of us take for granted.
This year, we’re joining their #ItsInTheBag campaign, and we’re inviting our talented community of upholsterers and makers to get involved with us. Together, we can make a real difference.
We’re calling on our creative network to put fabric offcuts to good use by sewing simple fabric bags. These handmade bags will be filled with essential care items by us and distributed through Share the Dignity to women and children in need. Alternatively, you can repurpose/supply old bags you no longer use.
Not only does this give our leftover fabric a second life, but it also creates something both practical and meaningful, bringing dignity, comfort, and kindness to those doing it tough.
How You Can Help
If you’d like to join us, here’s what we’re asking:
1. Use leftover fabric to make your bag or repurpose any old bags you no longer use.
2. When ready give them your local Warwick rep or drop off at any Warwick showroom.
3. If you don’t have any spare fabric and would like to contribute – let us know and we will send you something to work with (marketing@warwick.com.au).
4. Once all bags have been received, we will then fill them with the required list of items.
Tips
1. Bag style: Basic tote, cosmetic bag, zippered overnight bag.
2. Size: Any size welcome, we’ll make them work.
3. Branding: No logos or branding required.
4. We aren’t asking for a lot of bags, even just 1 will make a difference.
For those who’d like a guide, we’ve shared step-by-step tote instructions to make the process as simple as possible.
Deadline for Donations
Please deliver your completed fabric bags to your Warwick rep or local Warwick showroom by: Thursday, 14th November. From there, we’ll ensure they are filled with essential care items and delivered directly to Share the Dignity for distribution.
A Small Effort, A Big Impact
This is our first year supporting Share the Dignity, and we’re excited to see the creativity and generosity of our Warwick community come to life. By giving your time and talent, you’ll be helping to restore dignity and bring a smile to someone facing incredible challenges. Together, let’s sew with purpose, give with heart, and support those who need it most.
