What is TexDefend?

TexDefend is a high-performance, non-toxic fabric and upholstery protector that forms a clear, breathable layer to repel liquids and block dirt penetration. Its hydrophobic and oleophobic performance helps protect textiles while allowing fibres to breathe and aerate.

Pre-Test Before Use

Always test a small inconspicuous area before use. Apply the spray then use a white microfibre cloth to dab the area and check for colour transfer. If prominent transfer is present, or appearance changes when dried, cease use.

Coverage

60mL to 100mL per m². Approximately one 500mL bottle covers 2
to 2.5 seater couches. TIP: Treat the areas that get the most use:
seats, seat backs and arms. You do not need to treat the entire item.

How to Use 

1. Prepare

Prepare the surface to be treated by vacuuming and ensuring it is clean and dry.

2. Spray

Spray onto the surface approximately 20cm from the fabric to fully
dampen but not saturate or allow the formula to pool. For fibrous
textiles, gently use a soft bristled brush to agitate the solution into
the material.

3. Dry & Cure

Touch dry in 2 hours. Allow to fully dry before use (at least 24
hours). Re-apply when coating begins to deteriorate or after the
fabric has been washed or dry-cleaned.
